Main driver of traffic in Lipa is the ever growing population in the city and officially became the most populated in the province since 2015. Lipa City also remains as the center for trade in Batangas and nearby towns. To be fair, most cities in the Philippines has its own traffic stories.
2. TRIKE FARE
Another consistent hot topic is some of the tricycle drivers are not following the fare matrix or choosing a passenger according to netizens. Some of the netizens is assuming TODA in Lipa to be untouchable due to its influence in supporting a politician while the other side is suggesting that the issue is how the passengers negotiate with the drivers.
3. POWER INTERRUPTIONS
Power interruptions are still rampant in Lipa despite of the regular maintenance as compared to other cities with different provider during ordinary days.

6. VACCINATION SYSTEM
Another new in the list and became trending was the system in COVID-19 vaccination specially during the first phase of roll out. There were multiple complaints on the vaccination system posted by the netizens like unfair distribution of forms, online registration not followed, crowd control and others. Despite issues, the current Administration has reported vaccination in Lipa a success as shown by the data on daily running cases. At present, Lipa is still single digit on active cases since Dec 13.
7. TAXI
Some of the Lipa residents are looking for alternative public transportation that is metered and more convenient like taxi due to issues on tricycle fare. LTFRB issued a notice to public opening a taxi franchise for Region 4-A which includes Lipa City where routes are from listed cities to any point in CALABARZON. The news became a concern to some residents most specially the operators and drivers of tricycle which was supported by the local government.
8. WEIGHING SCALES
A good number of incidents have reported by the netizens that they were cheated on the weight of wet goods they bought from public market. When in doubt as advised by public market officers, consumers should double check their goods through the provided calibrated weighing scale and report it immediately.

We Get Served on What We Deserved

It's a brand new year and a new decade. Everyone wants to win in life and to be guided faithfully, we have to understand that we get served on what we deserved based on what we have chosen in life. To captivate the best in our survival:

1. ENJOY and seize every moments and opportunities in our lives. Nothing is permanent.
2. LOVE and take good care of ourselves, our love ones, people around us, and everything that lives.
3. LEARN from our mistakes and acknowledge our fault. We can never move forward if we are carrying the same errors in our lives.
4. LISTEN from what other’s will tell us. No one is perfect but we can still get insights from anyone.
5. LIVE what we preach and what we post in social media about positivity in life.
6. VERIFY the source of our information and likewise KNOW the other sides of the stories before making our own comment or conclusion. Let’s stop spreading lies.
7. HELP as much as we can not only to our fellow humans but to any living creatures even without cameras. If we can’t help, at least don’t hurt or kill.
8. SAVE for emergencies and retirement. While it is good to enjoy what we currently have, we also have to spare for our future.
9. SPEAK straight from your heart but with Kindness and never speak to protect ourself or hurt other people.
10. APPRECIATE all the blessing that we are receiving may it be small or big and give back to nature.
11. RESPECT diversity of people around us.
12. PRAY not only because we need something but to give thanks on daily basis. Sincere and personal prayers not posted on social media are most effective.
13. RETURN whatever is not ours.
14. TRAVEL to places and meet other people whenever we can and if the time permits.
15. WORK with honesty and diligence.
16. SUPPORT and be happy with other people’s success.
17. CLEAN our room, home, and surroundings.
18. FOLLOW the rules or ordinances of the group or community we belong.
19. REINVENT ourselves if we see things are getting boring. It does not need to be complicated and we can start from our physical appearance.
20. BELIEVE in the laws of karma. We get served what we deserved.
May all our days be merry and bright!
