Lipa's Pride for 2015
Lipa never run out of good news this year as many brought honor and pride to our city from different regional and national competitions as follows (as posted in Lipa City Philippines group wall):
Engr. Aisa Mijeno
Inventor of Sustainable Alternative Lighting or SALt which won multiple awards here and abroad. Just recently, she shared stage with President Obama and Jack Ma of Alibaba in APEC Summit in Manila.
Rianne Kalaw
Won Miss Asia in Miss Tourism International in Beirut, Lebanon.
Paris Silva
Made it to Top 15 of Miss Earth Philippines and won Best in Cultural Costume representing Lipa City.
Benedict Inciong
Made it through the battle round of The Voice Kids under Team Bamboo.
Lucas Nikko Garcia
Top 16 in TV5's Rising Star. He is from San Lucas.
Rachelle Dimaculangan
Made it to the top 34 of GMA's StarStruck Season 6.
Teodorico Cumagun Jr.
His oil on canvas painting was the lone entry of the Philippines in 10th International Art Competition in Utah, USA.
Richard Mojado
First runner up in Mr. Philippines.
Joshua Garing
Included in Philippine representative to Jr. NBA from a pool of 2,500 aspiring basketball champions.
Kristell Dimaculangan
Ranked #9 in CPA Board examinations.
Chelony Pinaypainter
Received an award from Philippine Ambassador to Netherlands and BITWAW Breda recognizing her talent in the field of arts, photography and film making.
De La Salle Volleyball Girls
Won over NCR in Shakey's National League and will represent our country in International League.
Jessa Roallos
Ranked #5 in Licensure Examination for Teachers (Elementary Level). She is from University of Batangas - Lipa Campus.
Joseph Ng
Ranked #6 in Licensure Examination for Teachers (Secondary Level). He is from De La Salle Lipa.
Engr. Sifred Tubigan
Passed Professional Electrical Engineer by PRC.
Angelo Vince Perez
Won multiple medals in different International Mathematics competitions.
Rocelle Fatima Agustin
Won 2nd Runner Up in Mutya ng Batangas representing Lipa City.
